We want to make sure that people who use Bidvine to grow their business are who they say they are. To do this, we verify the identity of all newly registered pros. This promotes trust and safety and helps keep pros in good company.

How it works:

  1. You enter your information as it appears on your government issued ID including your name, date of birth, and address.

  2. Using OnFido, a certified third-party provider, we securely confirm your details against a range of verified global databases.

  3. Shortly after your ID is verified, assuming there are no issues with your profile such as missing information, your account will be approved.

What if my ID can't be verified?

If your identity isn't verified based on the information you entered, you'll be asked to upload a copy of your government issued id (Passport, Driver's License, or Identity card). That, along with a selfie from your webcam or camera's phone, will be used to verify who you are. Should this fail, you will be allowed 2 more attempts to upload your ID.

Interacting with customers

In order to interact with customers (i.e. send bids, messages, etc.), your identity must be verified and your account must be approved.
